A Spartanburg County Foundation fund
Arts with Heart
The Arts with Heart Fund is a new initiative that exists to promote meaningful community engagement through art and movement — it will host two fun events each year (an art event and a yoga event) that give back to the community, often through a financial contribution to a chosen non-profit.
The Arts with Heart Fund #02455, a component fund of the Spartanburg County Foundation, a charitable organization under the Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3). All donations made to the Fund are tax deductible.

About the fund
Arts with Heart started out as an art exhibition where local artists made artwork to sell to benefit the local non-profit of their choice. The first Arts with Heart took place in 2003 in the first floor of the Denny's building in downtown Spartanburg where 9 artists created work to benefit local non-profits that mattered to them. Later, AWH took place in the Showroom Gallery at HUB-BUB, an event space that was located downtown and offered community-focused cultural events multiple nights a week! There were three AWH fundraisers in that space that featured multiple artists each time, benefiting different non-profits, and drawing a large crowd to each event. The Arts with Heart Fund was created in the spirit of the original Arts with Heart exhibition.
